some corrections

• The rules for Roman Numerals have been in flux over the centuries, with users often making mistakes, willfully writing longer versions of numbers, or simply following now outdated rules. Writing to the left to indicate subtraction has been in existence since well before clocks were developed in the late 1300s, as is evidenced by the Roman Colosseum, which has 40 represented as XL.
• It was the Georgetown branch of the DC public library that caught fire, not a Georgetown University library.
• MLK is a different song, less obviously about MLK than Pride.
• While Jamestown wasn't abandoned by 1620, they did move to the 'New Town', (I think this just means the eastern side of the penninsula), abandoning their old fort, at some point in the 20s. At the end of the century, the statehouse moved to Middle Plantation, which was renamed Williamsburg, and Jamestown transitioned from town into plantations.
