• The first section of the Metro to open was the Red line between North and Rhode Island Ave, not the Yellow Line.
• Although I know it as something that people in AA say, the "definition" of insanity quip was most likely first said by Rita Mae Brown.
• While there are still some German speakers in Romania - I'm guessing mostly in Transylvania - it appears Romanian is the most commonly spoken language in Transylvania by far, with German coming behind Magyar and possibly Vlax Romani in terms of number of speakers.

A cretin is a clod; a Cretan is someone from from Crete. Here is a description of my confusion.
